The LTTA October 4-week middle school clinic series wrapped up on Monday. The cold weather didn't stop the fun as the kids focused on backhands.
Coach Christine Beaudin led the series, which took place every Monday in October at Lake Travis Middle School. Members of the LTTA Junior Tennis Council donated their time to assistant coach. Volunteer coaches included: Carter White, Anmay Devaraj, Luca Fischer, Kerry Lum, William Wang and Kevin Wang.
Due to high demand, LTTA added additional clinics on the weekends, at Bee Cave Middle School. The first weekend clinic took place last Sunday and was coached by veteran tennis coach, Bob Haugen. The kids focused on control and groundstrokes. This Sunday, November 1, Coach Haugen will work with the kids on serves. The clinics are open to kids in 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
