LTTA Wants to Grow the Game

Updated: Jun 4, 2024

Looking for a fun and active way to get your kids aged 6-10 excited about sports? Look no further than the Lake Travis Tennis Association's "Grow the Game" program! This innovative initiative aims to grow the game.

Here's how it works:

  1. Borrow a Tennis Kit: Head to Bee Cave or Lake Travis Community Library and check-out a LTTA Tennis Kit filled with everything your child needs to get started, including a racquet, balls, and instructional materials.

  2. Schedule Your Free Lessons: While at the library, simply scan the QR code to register your child for two free tennis lessons!

The "Grow the Game" program offers a host of benefits for young participants:

  • Physical Fitness: Tennis gets kids moving and promotes healthy habits through exercise and coordination development.

  • Social Skills: The program fosters teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship while making new friends in a supportive environment.

  • Mental Focus: Tennis requires strategic thinking and problem-solving, honing essential cognitive skills.

  • Confidence Booster: Mastering new skills and experiencing the joy of the game can do wonders for a child's self-esteem.

  • Lifelong Love of Tennis: By sparking an early interest, the program potentially introduces a lifelong passion for the sport.

Space is limited to the first 20 participants.
