LTTA Awards Four Scholarships

The Lake Travis Tennis Association (LTTA) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarships: William Mar, Carly Krothe, Rourke O'Shannessy, and Santiago Pombo. Each of these exceptional students has shown a deep commitment to tennis, academic excellence, leadership, and giving back to our community—values at the heart of LTTA’s mission.

Now in its third year, the LTTA scholarship program was established to recognize and support local graduating seniors who embody the values that the association seeks to promote—integrity, perseverance, sportsmanship, and service. By easing the financial burden of higher education, LTTA hopes to empower these students to continue striving for excellence while staying connected to the sport they love.

“These four students exemplify the character, determination, and generosity we hope to encourage through the LTTA scholarship program,” said LTTA President Richard Evans. “We are honored to support them in this next chapter of their lives.”

The Lake Travis Tennis Association remains committed to supporting the next generation of players, not only as athletes but as leaders and lifelong contributors to the sport. By investing in these young scholars, LTTA continues its work of strengthening the Lake Travis-area tennis community.
