Red Ball for All Brings Tennis and Connection to AIM

Lake Travis Tennis Association recently hosted two “Red Ball for All” events for members of Adults Independent and Motivated (AIM), bringing the group together through tennis on July 26 and September 27.

At the first event at Hill Country Indoor, participants spent an hour on the court using red balls and smaller courts. Red ball tennis is quicker to learn than traditional tennis, making it easier for new players to rally, build confidence and enjoy the game right away.

After the July event, the group returned to Avanti Hills Apartments, where AIM members live independently with support, to enjoy pizza together. A second tennis event on September 27 continued the connection between LTTA and the AIM community.

AIM is a local nonprofit community serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These events reflect LTTA’s commitment to making tennis accessible and welcoming, creating opportunities for play, friendship and community.

Two events, one simple message: Red Ball for All.
