The Lake Travis Tennis Association announced today that it will be partnering with Shake Shack, the modern day “roadside” burger stand, to offer a middle school tennis program at all three of the Lake Travis middle schools.
The 6-week program, which will take place on Fridays from 5:30-6:30pm, will focus on play and character building. "Tennis not only teaches kids valuable life skills like teamwork, dedication and self-confidence, it has a large number of physical developmental benefits," said Richard Evans, president of LTTA. "We are excited to partner with Shake Shack to introduce more local middle school children to the sport."
Shake Shack is known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs (no hormones or antibiotics – ever), fresh-made frozen custard, crispy crinkle cut fries and more. A fun and lively community gathering place with widespread appeal, Shake Shack has earned a cult-like following around the world. They have two locations Austin - on South Lamar and at The Domain.
The middle school programs will run April 9 - May 15. For more information and to register, visit the LTTA Events page.
