The Lake Travis Tennis Association October 2020 Middle School Clinics schedule has been published.
The clinics kick-off on Monday, October 5 at Lake Travis Middle School and will last four weeks. The one-hour sessions cost $99 and are open to children in grades 6-8.
Kids are encouraged to wear court shoes, shorts/tennis skirt, t-shirt, hat/visor and bring a water bottle. Equipment will be provided.
This is the first Lake Travis Tennis Association tennis event since concerns over COVID-19 forced them to suspend programming last March.
Because the health and safety of their coaches, participants and community are their number one priority, LTTA is taking added precautions to support the safety and well-being of the community. The precautions include:
Reconfiguring curriculum to limit group size during activities (in accordance with local guidelines)
Requiring staff to wear cloth face coverings
Encouraging hand and respiratory hygiene
Implementing new protocols for intensified disinfection of equipment
Adhering to physical distancing strategies
