Week three of the middle school clinic series took place today at Lake Travis Middle School. The focus this week was on lobs and serves. The kids participated in drills led by Coach Christine Beaudin and members of the Lake Travis High School Varsity Tennis Team.
Middle School Clinics teach the fundamentals of tennis to 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Proper technique is emphasized along with racquet control, cooperation and movement. Lessons are incorporated into fun games to help children stay focused and interested while learning to play.
Next week is the final clinic in the series. Lake Travis Tennis Association recently announced an additional middle school clinic will take place this coming Sunday, September 25 at Bee Cave Middle School. For additional information or to register for the event, click here.
