Lake Travis Tennis Hosts Red Ball for Event with AIM

Lake Travis Tennis Association hosted a special “Red Ball for All” event for members of Adults Independent and Motivated (AIM) on Sunday, July 26, at Hill Country Indoor.

Participants spent an hour on the court playing tennis using red balls and smaller courts. Red ball tennis is quicker to learn than traditional tennis, making it easier for new players to rally, build confidence and begin enjoying the game right away.

After tennis, the group returned to Avanti Hills Apartments, where AIM members live independently with support, to enjoy pizza together.

AIM is a local nonprofit community serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Lake Travis Tennis was proud to host an evening that brought people together through tennis, friendship and fun.

The event reflected a simple message that Lake Travis Tennis hopes to continue sharing throughout the community: Red Ball for All.
